1929. Fore-edge painting of John Milton. Paradise Lost, Regained, etc.. Poetic Works of Milton

A wonderful fore-edge painting decorates the edge of this collection of John Milton's poetic works. Paradise Lost is, of course, the most respected work to be found within; but also, Paradise Regained, Samson Agonistes, and some of his smaller works.

The fore-edge painting depicts Milton, and is overlaying a more typical fore-edge painting background of an English town.
