The fore-edge painting depicts King William, Saint Anselm and Westminster. The prize binding was won in 1896 by Gulielmus Rutherford.
Measures 17 x 11.5 x 2.5 cm. Fine binding, leather; signed by H. Sotheran & Co. . Five raised spines with title and author in compartments in gilt and floral decorations in other compartments. Device of school center of front board. All edges gilt (AEG). Fore-edge painting.
