A 16th century Hebrew to Latin thesaurus, printed by the venerable Plantin press. Printed in the Jewish format, with the book being opened right-to-left. The title page, introduction, etc. are in Latin. The words to be studied are in Hebrew, and the thesaurus-like definitions are in Latin.

See pictures. Vellum binding painted with edge wear. 2 cm chip at top of rear board; seems like someone might have used hot glue to seal the chip. Various degrees of darkening to binding, some cockling (waviness of vellum). Title in old hand at top of spine. No flyleaf. Title page mounted at hinge with (possibly hot glue?). Chipping around edges of title page, and toned, with ex libris manuscript inscription. Occasional moisture mark intruding from fore-edge. Occasional edge chip and dog-eared page. Page 113/114 cut out near margin. Ink spot on page 199 and 313. Marginal ink annotation mark on 446.
