Lucius Annaeus Seneca the younger was a Stoic philosopher of Ancient Rome.
Johann Friedrich Gronovius was a German classical philologist and critic.
In this work, Gronovius notates Seneca's works on Stoicism (Naturales Quaestiones), his letters, On Anger, On Tranquility of the Mind, etc. It seems to include most of Seneca's works, if not all known at that time.

Manuscript note on rear pastedown. Rear pastedown, is actually blank T12 of printing.
