An early Latin translation (by some considered the best) of the Rosetta Stone, complete with a translation of both the Egyptian hieroglyphs and the Greek inscriptions. This is the 1st edition of Uhlemann's translation. An important 19th century work to add to your Egyptology library.
Uhlemann taught Egyptology and archaeology at University in Germany.
A very thorough work, filled with hieroglyphs.
In addition to the discussion of the Rosetta Stone, there is a glossary which includes more Egyptian-Coptic-Latin translations and notes.
