A beautiful turn-of-the-century French Missal illustrated wonderfully by the French artist Joseph Beuzon. In a protective clam shell box (contemporary), the book is wonderfully clean and beautiful!
Physical Attributes
Measures 16 x 12 x 2.5 cm. Calf. All edges gilt. Gilt turn ins. Silk moire doublure and endpaper. Ribbon. "BNF" monogram on front cover. In clam shell box, that is thick and felt lined (original box to the book).
Condition of the Book
See pictures. Some shelf wear to box. Book has a little shelf wear on bottom edge. Slightest fraying to edge of silk moire endpaper. Pencil number and sticker ticket on blank unpaginated front leaves. Same pencil marks on Verso of rear silk moire endpaper. Else, a very clean and beautiful book.
