A first edition of this pro-Catholic work, bound into limp vellum. With the perfect antiquarian library patina, old library plates, and title in manuscript (old hand) on the spine, this book will add wonderfully well to any shelf.

Measures 20 x 14 x 4 cm. Limp vellum binding. Pages - (1), 6 leaves (title page, etc), a1-8 to d1-4 for xxviii pages, 552 numbered pages, 2 leaves errata and colophon, (1)

Condition of the Book -

See pictures. Soiling to vellum and slight cockling (waviness). Library plates and titling applied front board and spine. Ties expired, someone repaired the binding attachment; newer endpapers. Leading edge of front board has top layer of parchment missing, small spot at rear the same. Foreedge damp mark 1st 20 pages. Library stamp on title page. Partially colored printer's mark. Spilled ink blot affects approx. 10 leaves. Occasional underlining and yellowed pages.
