A King James' bible, printed with royal privilege at Clarendon Press in Oxford. The fore-edge painting depicts a man fishing, with a town present in the background hills.

See pictures. Rubbing, mostly at edges, corners and joints. No flyleaf at front, gap at gutter. Some bookseller and previous owner marks on blank unpaginated pages. Some toning to pages. Occasional foxing spot. Some dog-eared pages. Fore-edge painting seems a little faded. Although it has some wear, it is an attractive book with its beautiful binding and fore-edge painting.
