1818 Holy Bible; stereotype quarto edition by Collins. With tables, concordance, etc.

Sorry, this item has sold.

An early American stereotype quarto Bible, published by Collins in 1818. Because the British did not allow the colonies to print the English Bible, production in America didn't begin until after the Revolutionary War. This 1818 example was the second edition of the first quarto Bible to use the stereotype printing method in 1814.

Also included within this binding are an Index, an Alphabetical Table of all the Names in the Old and New Testaments..., Table of Scripture Weights, Measures... and a Concordance by John Brown.
